Well, if troops dying in Iraq, a relative flat economy, and soaring budget deficts make me a pessimist -- guilty as charged.

Somebody has to counter the spin being put out by this administration and make people think (dangerous thing that it is) about the issues. Unfortunately, that does not always get you elected Fred.
