Metroblogging DC: No Filming!

What a racket!! My wife & I ran in to the same "issue" at out daughters' recital last month. Ours was even more strict as they allowed no still photography whatsoever. I understand the need to make a couple of $$, but don't go throwing "copyright infringement" around when I doubt they seriously cleared all the rights for each song for each DVD/VHS tape sold. Although it was nice to just sit back and watch the various performances and not worry about playing camcorder jockey..
